TeamWorks Cooperative Network
The TeamWorks Cooperative Network consists of:
Two worker-owned cooperatives, TeamWorks House Cleaning and TeamWorks Sustainable Landscape Maintenance.
TeamWorks Development, which provides technical assistance, training, and research that support the worker cooperative movement. Our resources page has various papers available for free download that share lessons from our experience and other reflections.
TeamWorks Capital Fund, which provides long-term “equity-like” finance for TeamWorks cooperatives. It is managed by Opportunity Fund.
TeamWorks was founded in 2004 by David Smathers Moore. He continues to be a member of TeamWorks’ management team while also doing consulting, training, and research that supports the cooperative movement and serves on the board of directors of the U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives. Before TeamWorks, David lived in Chicago for many years where he worked at the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the Center for Labor and Community Research. More recently he was a community organizer with People Acting in Community Together (PACT) in San Jose, California, a member of the PICO National Network.
